Academic Integrity
Home> The Griggs Chronicle> Academic Integrity

Some of our Griggs students have been working on a project over the last several months. It has been a time to evaluate what it means to have academic integrity. Academic integrity means that you do your schoolwork honestly, without taking shortcuts or copying from other sources. It really is a mindset of wanting to learn for the sake of learning and not just getting the grade. It can be tempting to look for an “easy” way to get assignments completed in this digital age. This week, a group of students will be sharing some short videos on this topic that they believe is important to learners. Below, you will find the first student-made video on this topic. As the principal of Griggs, I am proud to see students take the initiative to teach their peers about such an important life skill.
